Yuanbang Liang
PhD candidate in computer science @ Cardiff University
I am a PhD candidate in Visual Computing research section, the School of Computer Science and Informatics, Cardiff University. My thesis topic is Uncovering the “Instincts” of Deep Generative Models for Fair and Unbiased Visual Content Creation, supervised by Dr. Yipeng Qin, Prof. Yu-Kun Lai and Dr. Jing Wu and this project is Fully funded by Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) DTP studentships.
My research interests are centred around machine learning and its applications in computer vision, computer graphics and content generation. My current research revolves around the hubness phenomenon to uncover the relationship between the hyper-dimensional distribution and the generative models. With my recent findings, there is a strong correlation between the manifold of the model and the sampling distribution in hyper dimension.
Now I'm Expecting to graduate before 2025 and looking for the research jobs.
